If you're not expert of Stan Lee's work:The Avengers are a Marvel Comics supergroup made up of Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, Captain America and others.
Downey recently shot a cameo for the upcoming 'Incredible Hulk', further indicating that an Avengers flick is moving forward.
I would be really happy if there was an Avengers movie. But no reall proof yet that there will be one or not...

Iron Man was practically flawless as a super hero flick; it drops pretty obvious hints that would indicate a sequel as well... i'm thinking the next one should be equally great

The Avengers movie is slated to be released June 2011, with First Avenger: Captain America in May 2011, and Thor sometime in 2010.
The ultimates version of Thor would translate really well to film.. i hope they go that route
