The Spirit, aka Will Eisner's The Spirit, is an upcoming film adaptation based on the comic of the same name created by Will Eisner.The movie is directed by Frank Miller and stars Gabriel Macht as The Spirit and Samuel L. Jackson as his nemesis, The Octopus. The Spirit is slated for a January 2009 release.
